Thank You
A number of people helped me on my journey in Irish music. For that, I am forever grateful. Part of creating this site is to help pay it forward to other aspiring Irish music muscians. I’d like to thank a few people specifically who really impacted me:
Paul Groff
Paul was my first teacher on the concertina and melodeon. When I first heard him play at his Watertown, MA shop, I was hooked. Paul truely guided me through my first few years. He told me sometimes the notes you don’t play are just as important.
Mary MacNamara
I was lucky to take Mary MacNamara’s class during Gaelic Roots at Boston College. I have always been drawn to her playing style.
Clemont Breton
Clemont built two of my wonderful melodeons in the keys of D and C. These are such special instruments for me. I appreciate all the care and love that went into creating them.
Zach Chadwick
Zach took many of the photos used on this web site nearly 20 years ago. He is an accomplished musican and an all around great guy. Thank you Zach.
